Demonstrations - case studies
This demonstration is the first of a series to be published illustrating some
of the features of Radar and some of the uses to which it can be put. The
demonstration uses a PowerPoint pres
entation
with captioned screen shots of the
model in action. Internet Explorer 4.0 or
equivalent browsers, or higher versions,
are required to view the demonstration properly. The demonstration may
take up to 50 seconds to download to your browser.

How to navigate a demonstration slide show:
The first page of a demonstration is a Contents slide of the various sections or themes within the demonstration.
| The presentation runs in your browser. The screen is split, to the right a slide & to the left a content table showing the titles of all slides. When 1st opened, 'ordinary view', the following items are included in a toolbar at the bottom of the screen. | ||

| Click 'Outline' to expand the content table. Click the button to the right of 'Outline' to hide the content table. | In ordinary view:
a). 1st slide - click a blank area in the 1st slide to see the contents of a section with an estimate of the time the section could take to view; continue clicking a blank area until the animation stops. Click a numbered 'roundel' to jump to the start of a section. c). in the bar, click the < or > buttons on either side of the '< Slide n of n >' to advance/ retreat one slide at a time. |
For full screen view:
1. click the button to the far right of the bar for a full screen view; 2. 1st slide - click a blank area in the 1st slide to see the contents of a section with an estimate of the time the section could take to view; continue clicking a blank area until the animation stops. Click a numbered 'roundel' to jump to the start of a section. 3. click the mouse in the remaining slides to go to the next slide or, use one of the buttons illustrated below; 4. or, faster, click the right mouse button & click the 'Next' or 'Previous' commands to change slides. 5. Click the Esc key to return to the browser at the end or at any point. |
